Visceral leishmaniasis (VL) is considered one of the endemic diseases in Iraq, and due to distinction anti-leishmaniasis treatments currently used by their many side effects addition toxicity human body, as well length treatment period, problems they cause digestive system, Salvia officinalis (Saga) was a natural preventive against leishmaniasis. Because its therapeutic properties for health symptoms, including heart attacks, ulcers, cancerous tumors, antibacterial antimicrobial nature, current study aimed know inhibitory activity plant extracts volatile oil on life Leishmania donovani parasite, using colorimetric test (MTT assay, measure toxicity) promastigote parasitoid cells, six concentrations aqueous extract emulsion mentioned were prepared (6.25, 12.5, 25, 50, 100, 200) g/mlµ, (31.25 ,62.5, 125, 250, 500 1000) The results indicated that under influence with three drug spectra officinalis, there noticeable differences percentage each spectrum.
